Alessandro Mengarelli received M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering and Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche, Ancona, Italy, in 2012 and 2017, respectively.

Currently, his research interests involve the assessment of muscular functions during gait through the electromyography signal processing and the application of control theory and modeling to the analysis of balance in perturbed conditions, with a multibody dynamic approach. In these fields, he authored/coauthored scientific publications in international journals and conference proceedings.
