Annamaria Guiotto got her Master Degree in Bioengineering at University of Padua, a PhD at the PhD school on Information Engineering, section Bioengineering, and she is currently a research fellow (postdoc) at the department of Information Engineering at the same university. Her research activity regards mainly the clinical movement analysis of diabetic subjects and the biomechanical modeling of the foot. Since 2013 she supervised and co-supervisor of 22 Thesis in Biomedical Engineering and Kinesiology. In 2009 she won the SIAMOC best thesis award and later some best paper awards at international conferences (SIAMOC 2015, ESMAC 2017). She is first author and coauthor of several papers and abstracts published in peer-reviewed journals and international conference proceedings concerning diabetic, post-stroke and ankylosing spondylitis subjects’ gait and posture abnormalities. She is member of several scientific societies (ESB, iFAB, ESMAC, IUC-BOHNES -elected Junior Fellows representative from 2015 to 2017 – and SIAMOC – elected board member from 2019 to 2021), and she has been in the Organizing Committee of the SIAMOC Conference in 2015. In 2017 she took part as a co-author of a patent for industrial invention and she has been co-founder of BBSoF s.r.l., a spinoff of the University of Padova.
