Valeria Belluscio was born in Rome, Italy, in 1991. She received her Master’sDegree in Health and Physical Activity from the University of Rome “Foro Italico”, Italy, in 2015. She worked on her Master thesis in collaboration with the IRCSS Santa Lucia in Rome, Italy, where she was involved in a project which concerned the gait analysis of people who suffered a stroke, in collaboration with physical therapists and engineers. During this experience she became familiar with Magnetic and Inertial Measurement Units.
She is currently enrolled in a PhD at University of Rome “Foro Italico”, Italy, working in the “Laboratorio di Bioingegneria dell’Apparato Locomotore”. Her main focus is on the use of Magnetic and Inertial Measurement Units to evaluate gait analysis and vestibular deficits in populations with neurological deficiency. Valeria Belluscio was born in Rome, Italy, in 1991. She received her Master’s Degree in Health and Physical Activity from the University of Rome “Foro Italico”, Italy, in 2015. She is currently enrolled in a PhD course at University of Rome “Foro Italico”, Italy, working in the “Laboratory of Bioengineering and Neuromechanics of Movement” with a focus on the quantification of dynamic balance, vestibular deficits, and cortical activity in populations with neurological deficits.
