In July-2021, I obtained a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnical University of Valencia (UPV). I am currently finishing my master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnical University of Valencia where I have already started my PhD.

My PhD thesis focuses on developing a methodology capable of analysing the structural characteristics of human vertebrae, creating a patient-specific model with medical images, which can simulate the effects of metastasis in the vertebrae body. The methodology includes the use of a FEM-based analysis method, the Cartesian Grid FEM(cgFEM), Machine Learning techniques (both, for the segmentation and for the numerical analysis) and, finally, the application of different failure criteria for the study of the structural stability of the vertebrae in the different cases.

I already have one publication, focused on the developments of the first part of my PhD thesis: the process of structural analysis of the vertebrae affected by metastasis using a ROM-based patient-specific dataset.
