Carmen D’Anna: received a MSc degree in Bioengineering from Roma TRE University in 2011. She is currently enrolled in a PhD program in Bioengineering at University of Roma TRE, under the supervision of Prof. Silvia Conforto. Her main research interests concern the development of techniques and methods for the evaluation of the interaction between cognitive and behavioral processes and motor function with a particular focus on posturography. She is assisting BioLab3 research and teaching activities in the Department of Engineering at the University Roma TRE. She also collaborates with Children Hospital “Bambin Gesù” in Rome.
Description of my work activity: Carmen D’Anna obtained the PhD in Bioengineering at University Roma Tre in 2016, defending the thesis entitled “Methods for the characterization of motor control development and its adaptation to visual biofeedback in upright stance”. She is now a post-doctoral research fellow in bioengineering at the Department of Engineering of University Roma Tre. Her main research interests concern signal processing in the biomedical field, postural control and human movement analysis. She serves as a reviewer for international journals in the field of biomedical engineering. She is assisting BioLab3 teaching activities within the Master’s Program in Biomedical Engineering at the University Roma Tre.
