ITOP R&D department cooperates with the most important national clinical research centers and universities to identify concrete innovations and new technologies for an effective social and occupational reintegration and well being of the disabled persons.
Founded in 1978 as a small artisan workshop, today ITOP SpA Officine Orthopediche, carries out its activities in a modern structure located in the town of Palestrina near Rome, counting more than 100 employees (counting 3 bioengineers and 21 CPO). From its headquarter coordinates the activity of 16 stores located in Lazio area and a secondary workshop located in Sicily.
ITOP research, develop and produces custom-made orthotics and prosthetics devices and distribute highly customized assistive device selecting the best of national and foreign manufacture.
An highly qualified team, continuously updates his scientific and technical knowledge in order to optimize production processes, ensuring unrivalled execution speed as well as the highest product quality. Every year ITOP assist more than 25,000 patient from the National Health Service renewing every day the confidence the medical specialist put on us, thanks to the high quality and functional requirements fulfilled by our products and services.

In the context of education, ITOP has an agreement with the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, for CPO, Physiotherapist and Physiatrist student training.
Since 2002 ITOP is UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 compliant as certified by DASA-Ragister.

- Take CO.TRA.L. coach line for Palestrina at “Anagnina” metro station.
