Michela Goffredo is a Biomedical Engineer at IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana Rome. Her research work includes: robotic-assisted rehabilitation, virtual reality, human motion analysis, biomedical signal processing. She works in the multi-centric RCT “Exoskeleton-based gait rehabilitation of stroke patients: clinical and neuromuscular assessment” with the EKSO robot (EKSO-Bionics, USA) as principal investigator (ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT03395717). Michela is involved in a clinical study on the efficacy of a virtual reality system (VRRS-Khymeia, Italy) for orthopaedic patients (ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT03454256); and on upper limb rehabilitation of stroke patients by analysing the biomechanical data acquired during robotic-assisted arm therapy with the InMotion2 (Interactive-Motion-Technologies, USA) device.
