Aix-Marseille University (AMU) is the largest French-speaking university with a population of 72,000 students. AMU has a wide training offer from the health sciences (medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, odontology, occupational therapy, physical therapy), to sciences (mathematics, physics, biology, earth sciences), technologies (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, etc.), social sciences, law, educational sciences, and kinesiology and sport sciences studies. AMU welcomes no less than 3800 doctoral students in 2014. It is also proud to count a large proportion of foreign students (12% of its students of 125 nationalities).
